Caridad M. Rebollar, MD, was born in Cuba and came to the states after completing medical school. Dr. Rebollar works in the Mission Crossing clinic at the San Antonio Kidney Disease Center Physicians Group, serving nephrology patients in a kind and compassionate manner.
Dr. Rebollar attended the University of Puerto Rico for her undergraduate and medical degrees. From 1990 to 1995, she served in the US military. She completed both her residency and internship at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, followed by a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was an assistant professor of nephrology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio before joining San Antonio Kidney Disease Center Physicians Group in 2000.
Dr. Rebollar speaks Spanish and is a member of several medical organizations, including the National Hispanic Medical Association. She is also involved in conducting several research studies to improve the lives of those suffering from kidney disease.
